I so dominated my market area that the “big guns” with all their marketing dollars eventually gave up and left. Here's what others are saying:
with the top players in the world in the area of marketing and business growth. Patrick Bell has a broad understanding of advanced marketing tactics and strategies and has a great eye for spotting ways companies can grow quickly and solidly." --Chet Holmes, International Business Consultant and best-selling author of The Ultimate Business Machine (www.chetholmes.com). "It is clear to me that Patrick Bell is a master marketer. He knows how to successfully apply innovative marketing techniques to whatever business environment he encounters." --John Nowacki, former vice-president at Fortune 500 Unisys Corporation, 500,000,000,000KES annual sales. I’ve left my 15,000 KES/hour practice in Japan and want to spend the next 12 years (or more) investing my time and energy in Nairobi first, and eventually through all of East Africa. My special gifting is my ability to grow businesses by showing them how to work smarter, not harder, and to capitalize on hidden profit opportunities. I am going to allow 100 business owners, CEOs, marketing directors, entrepreneurs, and consultants to spend 2 days with me at the Utalii Hotel in Nairobi, June 25th and 26th learning the strategies and tactics that I have learned and developed. When I called Chet Holmes’ office with just one of my ideas, he called me back the next day, eager to make a deal. But I want to make some deals with you, too! First of all, it’s ultra exclusive (only 100 people can come). Next, it’s unabashedly expensive—the price tag is Kshs. 29,500 (+ V.A.T.) for the 2 days—and worth every shilling! Finally, I will only agree to accept applicants who satisfactorily complete a confidential questionnaire that tells me whether or not your business is operating with integrity, and has the capacity to handle a sudden influx of new customers. (Note: the questionnaire does not require you to disclose any sensitive financial information. It is established only to measure your potential.) Some of you might say, “Bring it on! I can handle as much as you give me!” Maybe not! The information I will teach is powerful enough to sink a business that is not truly prepared. What's Your Risk?
that they didn’t get at least Kshs. 29,500 worth of business growth information by 2 p.m. of the first day is free to leave (with no hard feelings) and gets his or her money returned “on the spot”! I’m that confident of the value of the information I have to share with you. However, even if you decide to leave, you’ll be allowed to keep the printed material that I will give to each person. How can you be sure? I've invited the media to spend the first day with us to monitor what we're doing. I'm not here to take anyone's money and run -- I want to build a long-standing, strong, unassailable consultancy in Nairobi and I'm not about to throw away my reputation for the sake of a few shillings. So what's your risk? There is no risk! If you're unhappy for any reason, your money will be immediately retrieved from a safe location and returned to you--without an argument, but with a smile! Unbelievable in Nairobi? But that's the way I do business!
wanted to leave. The advanced marketing and business growth strategies that you'll learn are that good!) The Challenge You Face Every business faces at least one of the following three problems: 1. You can’t get enough customers; 2. You can’t get your customers to buy more often; 3. You can’t get your customers to spend more when they’re in your place of business. Peter Drucker said that marketing and innovation are the keys to growth. I say, “Innovative Marketing is YOUR key to growth.” Marketing is the key to building any business… and your personal time and money freedom. It’s true. When you master marketing, you master the ability to generate money on demand … through as many different channels as you can imagine. Once you can create all the residual income you need, you’ll have the time and money to live life the way you want. What does this program mean for you? • It means you can stop getting battered by the economy – forever. • It means your sales efforts can make you (much) more money from now on. • It means your ads, e-mails, and sales letters will produce greater results and your promotions and sales campaigns can start working again. • It means your business can sell more products or services right away. You can make more profits to buy the things you want and need. • It also means enjoying the game of business again, or maybe, enjoying it for the first time ever – with more time to think, do and spend on projects and opportunities that you're interested in. • It also means having more free time to spend with your family and the peace of mind to relish it • It means taking control of your future, instead of letting your future be controlled by outside influences like a rocky economy or fierce competition. • It means having me in your corner to help you out-wit and out-sell your strongest competitors. But marketing can be tough. It seems like the more you learn about marketing, the more you realize how much you don’t know. Case in point is the last big seminar in Nairobi featuring Tom Peters. When it all boils down, if you went to this seminar, you heard a lot of philosophy because Tom Peters' special gift is inspiring people to dream. We need dream casters, but they need to be followed by implementers -- those who specialize in the practical, nuts and bolts, how-to strategies and tactics of actually getting more customers and getting them to spend more with you. That’s where I come in. Here’s what MY Seminar will cover:
more frustrated at a deeper level)
really work
how to hire superstars and top performers. It doesn’t matter if you are a one-man show, or one-woman show, or you are a part of a much larger company—the same applies to every aspect of selling. This recruitment and selection and the actual hiring process is a technology that I will teach you in detail. Technology means, we have it down to a science and we can repeat it over and over again. If you are hiring sales staff on straight commission, like I did, you probably will be looking for people who have a lot of ego and drive, and a large capacity to influence, but also a certain amount of empathy. You might ask, “If they’re on straight commission, what does it matter? If they don’t sell, no loss to us right?” But I would offer you one very important reason. If you have 10 sales reps in your company and they could each sell, on average 10 widgets per week (which you think is okay), you will sell 100 widgets per week, right? But we know that 10% of the sales force makes 80% of the sales so in your company, you would have 1 person making 80 sales and 9 people making a total of 20 sales. That’s the statistical average. One study has shown that 80% of sales are made after the fifth call. However, 48% of salespeople call once and give up. 25% call twice and quit. 12% make three calls and stop. 5% give up after the fourth call. Only 10% keep calling. And it’s this 10% that makes 80% of the sales.
stay awake during the day! You've got to set policies that your sales staff are following and then you've got to police your staff so that they're doing what they should be doing. Do you do this? In my company, we only hire those top 10% so I would have 10 people each making 80 sales for a total of 800 sales per week. Now would you rather have 800 sales, or 100? And you also know that you only have so much space for these people to work… And you also know that there is a certain quality of person you want representing you. I’m going to go into incredible detail so you can make this a reality. Ask yourself, “If I could improve my sales revenue just 10%, what would that mean to my bottom line?” Or, “If I could add just one Superstar to my sales force, would I pay for this seminar?” I think you would many times over. And that is just a fraction of what you will learn.
making so much money, why is he doing this?” Profits, for me, are not the end goal of life. Profits are simply a scorecard for me of how well I am serving the community. You see, my great-grandfather and grandfather were missionaries to Africa—my grandfather (Leslie Barham, pictured on the right along with my mother and uncle) translated the Bible into the Bemba language of Zambia. I am no missionary. I’m a straight-talking businessman that doesn’t waste a moment of time. But, I have a deep desire to use the vehicle of business training to bring about economic change to the communities that I’m working in. This is why I consistently donate 10% of my pre-tax profits to a foundation that uses the money to build up the suffering communities in and around Nairobi. And, I realize that to really help a country, I have to get the businesses in that country “growing and blowing”. That’s where you come in. Keep These Important Facts in Mind If you sign up, and if you are accepted, you’ll be exposed to some very powerful and very profitable information that few “amateur” business owners ever learn about. |
